Set In NEW YORK CITY, DEADBEATS follows the story of KASSIDY JONES, a single mother with a daughter fresh in the throes of teenage delirium.  When Kassidy and her newly unemployed friends decide to spend their newfound free time taking child support enforcement into their own hands, a new business venture is formed: DEADBEATS, INC.  and No Child will be Left Behind…

In each episode, a serial-procedural, Kassidy and her crew go about taking down a different deadbeat throughout the 5 Boroughs of cultures, classes and landscapes in NYC. Meanwhile, her daughter Tori, faces settling into a high school turned all the way up in her Manhattan public high school, a far cry from the suburban, slow-paced life she grew up with back home in Virginia.
